Leading Literacy Impact Masterclass

A school leader’s guide to embedding school-wide high impact literacy approaches.

The Leading Literacy Impact Masterclass is an online, fully on demand course to support school leadership teams to transform their literacy approaches to align with the science of reading to ensure literacy success for every student. The Leading Literacy Impact Masterclass provides a proven step by step approach to prioritising in what makes the greatest impact in literacy achievement for all students.

The Masterclass can support schools every month to:

  • Audit the current school strengths and areas for development based on the nine elements of high performing schools
  • Be at the forefront of evidence- based instruction in the science of reading
  • Effectively cater for a wide range of learning abilities across a school
  • Establish a proven school-wide preventative and responsive framework for literacy difficulties
  • Embed high impact school-wide approaches to assessment, literacy instruction and intervention
  • Sustain whole school improvement through a high impact professional learning and coaching model
  • Engage parents in the literacy development of their children

Your leadership team of 3 people will have access to:

  • 10 modules including lectures, toolkits and resources
  • Private, online community group support
  • Monthly virtual team hour long coaching sessions for one year
  • 2 days of Professional Learning based on your school needs and context
  • Ongoing support from Julie Scali
  • Power Point slides available on request

Instructional Coaching

Literacy Impact provides 1:1 and small group strength based instructional coaching and mentorship in the science of reading, data informed practice, whole school literacy leadership and literacy planning.
